Del Norte County
Route 101 (44.7/45.6) – A highway widening project from Clifford Kamph Memorial Park to Gilbert Way will continue. Work hours are 6:30AM to 5:30PM, weekdays. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 20-minute delays. Contractor – Tidewater Contractors, Incorporated of Brookings, Oregon. LC#C101ZD
Route 199 (11.0/11.8) – Replacement of Hardscrabble Creek Bridge will continue. Work hours are 7AM to 3PM, weekdays. Intermittent full road closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. Contractor – American Civil Constructors of Benicia. LC#C199KB
Route 199 (27.0/27.5) – A curve realignment project from 1.0 mile east to 0.5 miles east of Idlewild Maintenance Station Road will continue. Work hours are 6AM to 5:30PM, weekdays. Route 36 (1.0/1.6) – PG&E of Eureka has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility maintenance from De Mello Road to Wolverton Gulch on Friday, December 5, from 8AM to 2PM. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P36AA
Route 101 (5.6/36.1) – Caltrans will continue routine maintenance from the Edward C. Wagner Bridge to Dyerville. Work hours are 8AM to 3:30PM, weekdays. Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction of travel. Motorists may experience minor traffic slowdowns. LC#M101JA
Route 101 (39.8/43.0) – Sinkhole repair at approximately 2 miles north of Redcrest will continue. Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction of travel 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Motorists may experience minor traffic slowdowns. LC#M101AA
Route 101 (111.5/112.0) – A pavement repair project from 1.0 to 0.5 miles south of Kane Road will continue. Route 254 (39.6) – PG&E of Eureka has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility maintenance near Sorenson Road on Thursday, December 11, from 1PM to 2PM. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P254BA
Route 254 (43.1/45.0) – PG&E of Eureka has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility maintenance from the Bear Creek Bridge to 1.1 miles south of the Greenlaw Creek Bridge on Thursday, December 11, from 9AM to 12 noon. Route 20 (8.6) – Mohammed Hussain of Nice has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for paving near the Middle Creek Bridge. Work hours are 9AM to 3PM, weekdays. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P20BA

Route 20 (38.5/42.0) – A roadway realignment project from 1.4 miles east of the North Fork Cache Creek Bridge to 1.6 miles west of Walker Ridge Road will continue. Route 29 (31.1) – Installation of a changeable message sign near the junction of Route 29/175 in Kelseyville will continue through Friday, December 5. Route 1 (33.9/38.9) – AT&T of Fort Bragg has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility installations between Philo Greenwood Road and Navarro Bluff Road. Route 101 (3.1/4.5) – A pavement repair project from 0.1 miles north to 1.5 miles north of Comminsky Station Road will continue. Northbound traffic will be restricted to one lane 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Motorists may experience minor traffic slowdowns. LC#M101DA
Route 101 (35.8/37.5) – Roadway repair due to pavement deterioration from 3.6 miles south of Ridgewood Ranch Road to 1.9 miles south of Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction of travel 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Motorists may experience minor traffic slowdowns. LC#M101FA
Route 101 (46.5/46.6) – Majajo, LLC of Willits has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility installation between Oak Avenue and San Francisco Avenue. Work hours are 9AM to 3PM, weekdays. Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction of travel. Motorists may experience minor traffic slowdowns. LC#P101CA
Route 101 (49.0) – Caltrans will perform routine maintenance at the railroad crossing on Monday, December 8, and Tuesday, December 9, from 8:30AM to 3PM. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C101BA
Route 162 (0.7) – A bridge widening project at Outlet Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control with a temporary signal is in effect 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Route 253 (0.5) – A bridge widening project at Anderson Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control with a temporary signal is in effect 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Route 253 (3.5) – A bridge widening project at Soda Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control with a temporary signal is in effect 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Please keep in mind work on all these projects is weather permitting and subject to change. Caltrans wishes to advise motorists to drive with caution when approaching work areas and to be prepared to stop at traffic control stations.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above. (Bold type denotes a change from the previous bulletin.)
